not impressed
i bought the "pro" version, having read that the non-pro version displays ads (I hate being seen as a walking wallet). no ads in this version, but only one sound id use; I prefer the sound of a bell ringing as a delimiter to my meditation sessions, rather than the sound of a horse or a train going by or a dog barking, and only one of the bell sounds is not artificially attenuated – all the others are cut short, not allowed to ring to their full sustain, which, for me, wrecks their value as a smooth transitioner into or out of meditation and makes them sound recorded, rather than like real bells. and unlike with Insight Timer, you cant set up more complex bell patterns, such as one bell 15 minutes into your meditation, two bells 30 minutes in, and three bells at 45 minutes. heck, i dont think you can set up multiple interval bells at all! just one per session.
i also found the settings a touch confusing (how to set up presets; you cant choose global bell sounds, but can choose them only while setting up a meditation session), but to be fair, i did with Insight Timer too.
i guess if you want to keep things simple and youre not as picky about your sounds as I am, this would be a perfectly adequate app. its just not my meditation timer of choice.
